Product Overview

The Honda Civic performance series, featuring the iconic EG6 SiR (1991–1995) as a foundational hot hatch precursor with its high-revving B16A 1.6L VTEC engine producing around 167–170 hp, lightweight chassis, and sharp handling. It paved the way for the true Type R lineage, starting with the EK9 (1997–2000) lightweight B16B screamer, through EP3 (K20-powered), FD2 (JDM sedan), then turbocharged FK8 record-setter, to the current FL5 (2023–present) with 315 hp, advanced chassis, and benchmark FWD excellence.
